Course 1: Finding Your Voice (Thinking Self Smart) -
Boys & Girls Ages 12 - 17:
This dynamic leadership & life-skills curriculum offers 4 distinct classes that will encourage participants to think, learn, communicate and live more effectively through engaging, interactive and multi-disciplinary class room sessions. Using effective teaching and learning methods, youth will be inspired and challenged by Omar Salim (View Bio) an experienced educator who will deliver four intensive and influential classroom sessions on leadership, character development and life-skills learning. Omar and his team will provide contextualized and applied classroom and coaching lessons that will ensure ongoing interaction, mentorship and personal feedback to accommodate and help enhance youth with varying age, knowledge, skills and abilities. Participants will be instructed to teach and apply materials learned, complete assignments in between courses (including follow up bi-weekly coaching), volunteer in the community and tested with a final exam. The 360ydc character & leadership academy will strive to help youth find their voice, unleash their potential and leave with a personal plan to transform their lives in areas of:
Self - Family - School - Health - Friends - Work - Community
Finding Your Voice is among two additional courses offered by 360ydc including: Inspiring Others (Course 2) and Achieving & Maintaining Excellence (Course 3). Leadership & Life-Skills courses 2 and 3 will be offered in upcoming dates and posted here on our web-site.
